The Space

Nestled in a serene, wooded corner of a 16-acre estate, this cabin offers the perfect blend of private seclusion and shared luxury. The property is designed as a peaceful retreat, featuring a main residence where the owner lives, along with two other distinct rental units thoughtfully spread across the expansive grounds.

The cabin sleeps 6 guests with 1 bedroom (1 queen bed + 2 bunk beds), 6 beds in total, a sofa bed in the living room, and 1 bathroom. It has a full kitchen, WiFi, free parking, and self check-in via keypad. Pets are allowed.

Privacy and space: the cabin is tucked away in a private, wooded area of the estate, ensuring a quiet and intimate atmosphere. You will have your own dedicated private driveway and parking area, along with a private yard exclusive to your stay. It's the perfect spot to unplug and enjoy the sounds of nature in total peace.

The Neighborhood

Experience the ultimate sense of "getting away from it all." Our 16-acre estate is surrounded by hundreds of empty, undeveloped acres, providing a vast buffer of silence and natural beauty. This unique location offers a true wilderness feel and unparalleled privacy.

Despite the quiet surroundings, you are never far from convenience. The estate is perfectly situated close to shopping, local parks, and a variety of dining options, allowing you to enjoy a secluded forest retreat without sacrificing easy access to everything you need.

Guest Access

While your cabin provides a secluded escape, you are more than welcome to enjoy the shared swimming pool and deck located at the main estate house. Since the pool is approximately 700 feet from the cabin, it may be a bit of a trek; you are more than welcome to drive over, and we ask that you please park on the right side of the main house.

Right at your cabin, you'll have everything you need for outdoor fun and relaxation, including a deck with rocking chairs for morning coffee or relaxing in the shade, a BBQ grill for afternoon cookouts, a picnic table for alfresco dining in the woods, and cornhole boards for some friendly competition in your private yard. Pool towels are included in your cabin.

Important Safety Information: The North Carolina Woods

While the beauty of our 16-acre estate is one of its best features, please remember that you are in the heart of the North Carolina woods. To ensure you have a safe and enjoyable stay, please keep the following in mind:

Native wildlife and pests: the surrounding forest is home to various animals and insects. Please be mindful of Copperhead snakes, which are native to the area and well-camouflaged in leaves. Additionally, ticks and chiggers are common in wooded and grassy areas; we recommend using repellent and checking yourself after spending time outdoors.

Plants and terrain: you may encounter poison ivy in wooded or unmanicured spots. The property also includes natural ravines and uneven ground. For your safety, always stay on the marked trails or within the cleared yard and driveway areas.

Night safety: the woods become very dark and the terrain can be difficult to navigate after sunset. Do not walk in the wooded areas at night.

By staying alert and sticking to the designated paths, you can safely enjoy the incredible peace and natural scenery our property offers.
